- January, As part of multi-interview series on PFAS in The Analytical Scientist Magazine, Dr. Silvana Andreescu outlines some of the challenges that those engaged in PFAS detection encounter in her interview with editor James Strachan. 

2025 

- December, Dr. Silvana Andreescu and Dr. Mujtaba Baqar described current and potential future PFAS detection methods in an interview with Kerry Taylor-Smith for Technology Networks Magazine.

- On December 16th, Tosin Popoola successfully defended his PhD thesis: "3D-printed bio-based hydrogel composites for smart packaging and wearable sensors".  Congratulation Dr. Popoola!

- November, we are delighted to see that our work "Sensors for Emerging Water Contaminants: Overcoming Roadblocks to Innovation" has been honored with the 2024 Best Paper Award (Future/Perspective section) by the Environmental Science & Technology journal. Congratulation to the authors: M. Ateia, H. Wei, and S. Andreescu!

- June 26, Ulfet Erdogan attended the 29th Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference, in Pittsburg, PA as Ciba award recipient presenting her research in phosphate removal. Congratulation!

- On April 25th, Abd ur Rehman successfully defended his PhD thesis: "Electroanalytical methods for rapid and sensitive detection of PFAS".  Congratulation Dr. Rehman!
